Best to consult your owners manual, but in my opinion the old "3000 mile (5000 km) interval " is just too soon unless you are operating under extremely harsh conditions. It just produces more waste oil and you are spending extra $$$ also. New car engines run so much cleaner than old engines, and new oils are better also, so the 3000 mile interval is just something that make the shops, oil and filter companies happy.
If you change your oil around 5000 miles (8000 km), as I do, your engine should outlast the rest of the car no problem.
15,000miles, 500hours, 6 months.
Most riders agree that oil should be changed every 3,000 miles. Change it when it turns black, even if it isn't 3,000 miles yet.
I own a 2006 Toyota Highlander and the oil change is recommended every 5,000 miles or every 6 months whichever comes first.
Discuss the frequency of oil change service for a light-duty engine used in a regular service application versus on in a severe service application?
3 months 3000 miles

how do i change the oil/ how do i change the oil/
More or less is not a good way to describe the frequency for car maintenance. Regular maintenance is the right way. Go to your mechanic and let him assess if your car needs an oil change. Ask him about the frequency of maintenance too.
An oil change is when you change the oil of your car. Once in a while, cars need to have an oil change because their oil get used too much and needs to be changed.
The oil filter is there to trap any tiny particles that are in the oil. You change it because it becomes dirty over time. Change the oil at every oil change.
1. Change your oil. 2. Change your oil. 3. Change your oil. 4. Change your oil.
HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE OIL??????? IS THAT THE QUESTION, HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE OIL????? What is this, a joke?????
