what name my wife now
wHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE?
old rubber gasket stuck to block or to much oil pressure regulated by spring above oil filter Filter not tight, hole in filter,....
its your oil filter adapter.its a seal that costs 5 bucks
If the casing is spilt a filter will leak an incorrectly installed filter will also leak.
Find the biggest oil leak with a wire leading out of it just above the oil filter
oil gallery plug not installed or a bad oil filter bypass valve
Its probably coming from the oil filter, I recommend just tightening it up and wipe off the oil and check it out again.
If it's not coming from the valve cover gaskets, could be from the rear rail of the intake manifold, or maybe it's from the oil filter seal, or possibly the pipe plug above the oil filter.
an oil leak
Hi, the oil pressure switch is located just above the starter, if it breaks out comes the oil ! Dave
lots of places. most common would be the oil pressure switch, located right above the oil filter
Need to check the oil cooler lines, there are 2 of them that are hooked to the oil filter adapter just above the oil filter and they run up the side of the engine and go into the radiator. Driverside. They are probley leaking.
