It can mean that this engine is out of time. You may need to have it timed.
have you checked to see if the timing belt or chain is broken? have you checked cylinder compression? is the oil up to proper level?
Most oxygen sensors are either on the exaust headpipe just after the manifold or on the manifold. I don't know where it is exactly on the Lumina but that is where you should start looking.
Bad coil? Bad distributor cap? If not HEI ignition-could be bad coil wire
Check at the wheels to make sure that the abs sensors have not become disconnected. The wiring or the sensors are the most likely causes.
