I have a 98 Saffari, there are only 3 sensors, so only one bank, and sesor 3 is the last one, it't found after the catalytic converter, very easy to get at and change, I've done it myself, but since I replaced it, it has died again, so in my case, there is another problem, causing thing, also check your 30A batt intl fuse in the fuse box, that seems to blow around the same time as the sensor, this is the second time this happends to me, after everything was changed it was fine for a few weeks, then it all went bad again...
Is this bank 2 sensor 1 or sensor 2?
The bank 1, sensor 3, O2 sensor would be the O2 sensor post cat.
Bank 1 sensor 1 would be threaded into the exhaust pipe directly after the exhaust manifold on the drivers side of the engine.
3, sensor 1 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 2
It is the sensor below the catalytic converter.
This would be the sensor after the catalytic converter.
bank one is the rear head, sensor 2 would be the lower one
Bank one sensor one oxygen sensor
The one after the catalytic converter.
That is the O2 sensor behind the catalytic converter.
Bank 2 is the passenger side exhaust pipe and sensor 2 will be the closest sensor to the converter.
Passenger side is bank one on a LHS.
