On a 2006 RAV4 V6 - Since holding the odometer button down while turning on the ignition will not reset the maintenance required light how do you do the reset?

Every vehicle manufacturer has their own idea of how the computer should be set up. You'll have to get the owners manual and look up "maintenance light" in the back of the book.
