question...But I feel your frustration, as i had the exact same I regularly took my 97' Ford Explorer (4-door, 4-wheel drive, I loved it!) to the dealership for its service and it seemed that Think), everytime it came back from the service department electronic seats...then the windows, door locks, then kicker for me, which is why (although I'll never buy a WW2), I'll never buy another Ford (and I was a good blah...was when black lil' foam started blowing out from the temperature air...This was right after having the fehicle in for back to the dealer who had to keep it for approx 3 days. The during the Explorer's manufacture!...Of course since I had had followed their recommended service to 'T' (I also had from the same dealer)...I expected that they 'FORD' would miles over the warranty period) because admittedly, it was a service tech. person every 300 miles since new...However, amount of money to replace the very unit THEY HAD SCREW,NUT,BOLT, ETC TO MOUNT THE RUINED AC electrical issues, except for the dash lighting issue, because it continued past the warranty period, they then issues which i had reported well within the warranty period. Van back in (or have it towed in) because the automatic transmissions...and to boot, the last one; Ford 9or the and expected the 'entire amount for 'another'-replacement I found that the Chevy Blazer's size and features were a Van...I have put 250K miles on my 1st one and 198K on the taken one of the Chevy's to the dealership, was to get them computer diagnosis unit, which shows all the vehicle's vital there was a bill for $60.00 (their minimum charge, "Unable to complete because customer has installed days and apparently went joyriding (as they had racked up hamburger's trash on the rear floorboard!...

NC that is truly amazing with electrical issues...He found the virtually stumped numerous other 'factory trained specialist'. Sirvertual~ My apologies (upfront) for not being able to answer this question...But I feel your frustration, as i had the exact same issue. I regularly took my 97' Ford Explorer (4-door, 4-wheel drive, white with grey accents, leather, etc, etc -It was beautiful and I loved it!) to the dealership for its service and it seemed that after the odometer h\it 36,000 miles (warranty period, I Think), everytime it came back from the service department it had a 'NEW' (usually electrical )issue...1st was the electronic seats...then the windows, door locks, then instrument panel lights, etc, etc...EVERYTIME!...BUT...The kicker for me, which is why (although I'll never buy a japanese car out of principle and respect for our soldiers in WW2), I'll never buy another Ford (and I was a good customer)...The Kicker, the straw that broke blah, blah, blah...was when black lil' foam started blowing out from the AC blower vents, quickly followed by warm, ambient temperature air...This was right after having the fehicle in for the 'umpteenth' time...sooo i imediately took the vehicle back to the dealer who had to keep it for approx 3 days. The Diagnosis?: the AC unit (part of it) had never been secured during the Explorer's manufacture!...Of course since I had purchased several 'NEW' fords from the same dealer and had followed their recommended service to 'T' (I also had another newer ford F-150 van for my work that i'd purchased from the same dealer)...I expected that they 'FORD' would make an exception on the warranty (which was approx. 1500 miles over the warranty period) because admittedly, it was a 'manufacturing defect' that had been in front of anauthorized service tech. person every 300 miles since new...However, Ford would not move an inch and wanted an astronomical amount of money to replace the very unit THEY HAD MADE DEFECTIVE - BY NOT USING EVEN A SINGLE SCREW,NUT,BOLT, ETC TO MOUNT THE RUINED AC PART IN PLACE!...I also never got any satisfaction on the electrical issues, except for the dash lighting issue, everything else, they just expected me to live with and because it continued past the warranty period, they then decided'it was my responsibility to repaiir those very same issues which i had reported well within the warranty period. During this same time, I had to continually take the F150 Van back in (or have it towed in) because the automatic transmission failed 5X...I ended up putting in 5 transmissions...and to boot, the last one; Ford 9or the dealership made me pay a percentage on...They wanted and expected the 'entire amount for 'another'-replacement tansmission!!!
At any rate...After a lot of looking (and even some research), I found that the Chevy Blazer's size and features were a good mixture of Utility-Vehicle and (with a lil' work) a Work Van...I have put 250K miles on my 1st one and 198K on the 2nd one...Both of which are still in service. The only time I've taken one of the Chevy's to the dealership, was to get them to check my recently completed tune-up work with their computer diagnosis unit, which shows all the vehicle's vital signs...The kept the car for 2 days...When I went to pick it up there was a bill for $60.00 (their minimum charge, apparently) with a handwritten not on the invoice stating: "Unable to complete because customer has installed aftermarket plugwires"...Yep, they kept my blazer for over 2 days and apparently went joyriding (as they had racked up 38 miles on the odometer) and I had two bags of Wendy's hamburger's trash on the rear floorboard!...
The LAME EXCUSE ON THE BILL WAS B.S....I bought 'Top of the Line' 8mm plug-wires, versus their overpriced 7mm stock wires and they commonly use that as an excuse when they don't get to a customer's vehicle (so i was told by an ex-employee of the dealership. I was pretty upset and went to the trouble to contact GM directly via email...I never received a reply whatsoever!...And although it's too long to make a long story short, I'll never, ever buy a new car at a dealership or go for any service. The ONLY REASON I WOULD EVER VISIT A DEALERSHIP IS TO BUY A PART I CAN'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE...A LAST RESORT! I dont know where you are located but there is a mechanic in NC that is truly amazing with electrical issues...He found the root to my electrical issues within an hour after it had virtually stumped numerous other 'factory trained specialist'. Best of luck and kindest regards... Sirvertual~
nothing. absolutly nothing.
Automatic transmissions are absolutely not dangerous. Any accidents not related to mechanical failure (which are very rare) are purely the drivers fault and have nothing to do with the car itself.
bad switch is usually the culprit bad switch is usually the culprit
NOTHING
The first thing you have to do is research the explorer. When you are done reserching, write your report.
He did nothing!
Your education has nothing to do with you getting a drivers lincese. As long as your old enough to legally drive in your state and can pass the drivers test there is nothing to stop you from getting it.
The question you mean to ask is about the transmissions--standard or automatic. This has nothing to do with the engine.
had the same prob. everything worked fine but when i would turn the key nothing would happen. then i put my key in the drivers door and unlocked it that way instead of using the remote and then it started rite up.
No he had nothing to do with killing he was an explorer
nothing
Where I live a good drivers abstract is: It will be a five year abstract and it will say "Nothing to report"
