crank sensor
Check for fuel Check for spark
Have you checked for fuel and spark? Camshaft sensor and or crank sensor will cause that problem as well!
Start by checking the 1997 Plymouth Breeze for proper fuel pressure. Also check for any loose connections at the crank position sensor or the coil packs. Any of these could cause the stalling problem.
crank position sensor
The crank sensor sends a signal to control the spark timing to the engine. If the sensor goes bad the engine may run rough or not run at all.
The transmission would have to be removed, which is a really big job
It is held in place by a horseshoe shaped clip. the clip is removed by reaching behind the handle with a small pick and pulling the clip out.
Check the engine ground before replacing parts. I have a 97 Plymouth Breeze that would not turn over, but the lights and radio worked. After replacing 4 parts (starter/solenoid, ignition switch, crank case sensor and safety switch), it turned out that the engine was not grounded properly. Once the ground was reattached correctly, car started.
MIL Code 11 = No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking. Good luck!
yes, that could be a cause. Along with fuel pump, crank sensor,....
No crank sensor. Only has the distributor pick up plate.
there isn't one
