in some state teenagers at the age of 17 can leave a parents house. I am from Texas and I am 17 about to be 18. Alot of my friends have left their parents house and the cops cant do anything about it because you are concidered an adult. if the child is still in high school you can go up to the school and tell the school that your child has left home so that you cant be ticketed for your child not going to school. (You might have to get some kind of report of the DPS office).
