they should just pull off the only reason they may be stuck on is that ther have melted on to the spark plug try twisting and pulling

Easiest way to find it is to set #1 piston at TDC, remove the distributor cap and see where the rotor is pointing. It should be pointing to position #1 in relation to the distributor cap.

The cam shaft position sensor is located under the distributor cap. You can replace this easily by undoing the screws holding on the distributor cap, remove and replace the sensor, then just replace the distributor cap.
