Jack the van up about a foot-Remove wheel- remove nut on top of shaft(a special tool may be required)-remove two bolts in bottom of shock on the under side of lower a frame. the old shock should come out through the bottom. It is likely the nut will be seized to the top of the shaft. Take a 6" to 8" socket extension with a 15mm deep socket and rock the bolt back and forth until the bolt snaps off just below the nut. If you have a dremmel tool with a cutting disk you can also sever the bolt by cutting at the base of the nut.
