With your hands or possibly some type of tool.
I have an 89 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, and both my doors, and back panel have 5.25" speakers... I'm not sure if the 93 Cherokee is the same, but I hope I help. My 92 Cherokee also has 5.25" speakers in both doors and in the rear hatch...however you can fit 6.5" speakers in the door with little or no modifications. Also you can fit 6.5" speakers in the rear hatch with a little cutting to the fiberglass.
Undo the 12mm nut from under the speaker in the boot.
Should be the infinity gold speakers 6". That's what is presently in mine and a few of my friends who own the jeep grand Cherokee.
All you have to do is by new speakers. Most speakers connect to the component with any plugs. If the component isn't damaged, then just go and price some new speakers.
The 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee (and the LTD.) takes 6 1/2" speakers all the way around... (all 4). Tweeters are a different matter.
Static noise on speakers usually means the speaker wire is not shielded properly. Replacing the wire with high quality speaker wire will likely solve the issue.
In the 1996 Jeep Cherokee, you had the option of either 2 standard speakers, 4 standard speakers, or 6 AccuSound by Jensen premium speakers. In the 2-speaker system: -Front Doors: 5X 1/4" In the 4-speaker system: -Front Doors: 5X 1/4" -Rear Tailgate: 5X 1/4" In the AccuSound by Jensen premium system: -Front Doors: 5X 1/4" -Dashboard: 3X 1/2" -Rear Tailgate: 5X 1/4" If you have the AccuSound by Jensen premium speakers, a label denoting AccuSound by Jensen will be found on both front door speaker grilles, and there are speakers in the dashboard. There is an amplifier mounted under the rear bench seat. If there is no label on the front door speaker grilles, there are no speakers in the dashboard, and there is not an amplifier, then you do not have the AccuSound by Jensen premium speakers. Also, if you have an A/M-F/M only radio (no cassette player, no CD player), you do not have the AccSound by Jensen premium speakers. Hope this helps! Thanks!
It depends on the sound system that was originally installed in your pathfinder. A 2 or 4 speaker system typically has 6.25" round speakers up front, and 6"x9" speakers in the rear(4 speaker system), whereas the 6 or 8 speaker system (with the 1" tweeters either up front, or both front and back) have 5"x7" inch speakers in both locations. (I have the '93 with the 8 speaker system, so I have verified that setup). Beware though, the stock 5"x7" speakers had a different (smaller) size basket around the speakers, so some modification may be needed when replacing them. Hope this helps!
The speakers in a 2007 Chevy crew cab are around six and three-quarters inches. However, if replacing the speakers, an adapter plate will be needed no matter what size is used.
Remove the door panel. remove the speaker by removing the screws. If replacing the speaker won't fix it check the door wiring for continuity as they break from years of opening and closing the door. Cheers
Yep. Any size/shape of speaker will work in any vehicle, as long as you can find somewhere to mount them. :)
before replacing the speakers remove one and try it in another location, same for the back, see if a speaker that you know is good works there. it may be the stereo at fault or bad connections.
