During Jesus' time the land was largely known in split terms, i.e: Judea (to the south) and Israel (to the north). There was no Palestine, in fact there has never been an independent country called Palestine. Palestine was a term made popular by the British during their occupation or mandate of the middle east regions in the early 1900's.

At the time of mandate (early 1900's) the land now known as Israel consisted of all the areas of the current region, including new areas now known as The Gaza Strip and The West Bank (these place names were not in existence), the land now known as Israel also consisted of the majority of the land now known as Jordan, Israel was roughly 3 or 4 times larger in geographical terms than it is now.

The then British Foreign minister, Winston Churchill, (later became Prime Minister) lopped off what is generally agreed to be about three quarters of the land of Israel, indeed all of the land to the east of the River Jordan was given to Hashemite monarchy in return for oil rights.

The Hashemite monarchy at the time had great authority over most of the land of Iraq.

So in yet another part of the world, we see today the results of the seed of division sewn by London's British authorities for the optimum interests of gaining rights to the middle east's oil resources, i.e: deals done to make money for London and their imperialist regime stretched throughout the world in the latter part of the 18th century and for most of the 19th and 20th centuries until the creations and inventions from Scotland, i.e: telephone, television et cetera helped other people of the world to get connected, get informed and to wake up to the division and robbery visited upon them by London's agents and that of other imperialist (or capitalist) regimes.

Thank God for the creativity of the people of Scotland, who's land mass makes up roughly half of the mainland of the British Isles but they are a people who have, in large, always retained their identity as Scottish not British, indeed they see themselves as different, they are recognised under international law as a nation in their own right and have at present their own parliament consisting of a government dedicated to removing them totally from the political union with England which makes up what is known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

The Scots are said to be of Israeli descent and are often referred to as one of the lost tribes of Israel, they have a coronation stone used in the ceremony of crowning their kings and queens known locally as the Stone of Destiny but it is widely believed to be Jacob's Pillow from the Bible stories carried with the Scoti tribe of Israelis en route to Scotland via Egypt, Spain and Ireland along with the Pharaoh of Egypt's daughter known as Princess Scota, where the Israeli Scots are said to have got their name from.

In relation to Jacob's Pillow (Stone of Destiny), those who support the true monarchy of the Scots that run from the ancient line of kings and queens of Scotland are known as Jacobites.

They stand in opposition to the current Germanic monarchy of the island brought in by their more numerous Germanic English neighbours to the south.

Wouldn't be the last time a Germanic people sought usurp those thought to have derived from the ancient peoples of Israel.
