This question can be answered anyway you wish. how long will the unit be empty? Will the electricity be shut off?
If you are shutting the fridge off it is suggested you defrost, clean and air dry the fridge to avoid build up of odors in the fridge and home.
If you leave it on then you must be sure power is to remain connected or you should clean and bleach the fridge. If you are not using the refrigerator, you should clean it thoroughly and prop the doors open. This prevents the refrigerator from collecting mold and awful smells from previous food kept in the refrigerator during previous use.
