yes because the school/college/work place would not want the poplice to be at ur place of work that its why tou are always told to tell someone at your place of work to talk to about it.the police can prosecute the bullies but you only need evidence i.e scars,marks or a witness.

∙ 13y agoThe term "bullies" is pretty broad, and doesn't indicate the type of behavior.
Those who call you names or vehemently disagree with you could be considered bullies, but as yet we haven't legislated against free speech.
Sixth graders who pushes fifth graders and takes their lunch money could be considered bullies, but we tend to consider childish behavior to be more immature than illegal.
If someone deliberately does harm to someone else, he/she should be prosecuted; but the problem is, our courts and jails are already full and we spend so much of the taxpayer money on welfare programs that we do not have the resources to actually deal with real criminals.
If you want to be a little more specific about who you consider to be bullies, perhaps a more detailed answer would be available.
