Living in a multi-cultural country, inter-cultural communication is important. learning languages of other cultures is important in the goal of national development. such knowledge will lead to a feeling of equality and acceptance in minority cultures. learning these languages as a part of the school curriculum is an important initiative that a government should take. Leaving aside the cultural importance, there is an educational importance i it also. It is a test to the kids to learn a new language and such practise might help in future endeavours.
