I would use 10w30. The answer to 10w40 is no. 10w30 is probably right but to be sure why not just look in your owner's manual. Don't have one, get one. Dealer or salvage yard is a source. It requires 5w-30 For temperatures below 60 F, 5 w 30 is recommended. For higher temperaturs, 10 w 30 is recommended. Personally, I believe in 10 w 40 if the engine is high mileage or the temperatures are hot and the distances driven are long, or the AC is running full blast in the city.
