There are many stamps with buffaloes on them. Need to get more information to identify them. Most used US postage stamps are worth 15 or 20 cents, the minimum amount required to catalog and stock the stamps. Unused will always be worth at least their face value. Special cancellations and different values are likely to be worth more. Consult a postage stamp catalog, usually available at your local library for exact identification and catalog values.

We don't know what year your stamp was made. There were many different 10¢ airmail stamps. If it has a Liberty Bell picture it's worth around 50¢. If he has an airplane it's worth around $3.00 to $8.00 depending on which picture it has. If it's only a red stamp that says Air Mail it isn't worth very much, maybe 25¢. Go to a book store and look at a Stamp Price Guide to find the same one as you have.

The 1800s refers to the year that the item pictured on the stamp was used, not when the stamp was issued. It has a minimal value.

Please check again and post a new question. All US half cents had a picture of Miss Liberty on the front. The first circulating US coin to have a picture of a buffalo on it was the famous buffalo nickel, issued from 1913 to 1938.

Estimated value $3,000,000.Note: The picture of the 1 cent stamp is a common stamp issued in 1868. It is the Z 'Grill' that makes it worth so much. You need to educate yourself in the different types of grills. Also, if you think that you may have found a 'Z Grill' stamp you would have to have it authenticated before anyone would buy it.
