The 4x4 hi low electronic switch only flashes but does not engage the 4x4 when the switch is pushed it blows the fuse any help would be appreciated I have tried a transfer controller.ordering a switch?

On the front differential there is a thermal actuator. It engages your front differential. They suck. In parts catalogs they are called 4wd actuator. If you like keeping your rig stock, get one for a 97 and up year of trucks. 96's and below are all inefficient. If you fourwheel or offroad your truck, get a 4x4 Posi-Lok at 4wheelparts.com. Installation of the posi-lok is not easy, but all good mechanics can handle it.
