The HOLD light on my Mazda 323 stays on even after I disconnected the lugs on the battery Why is this and how can I rectify this problem?

you should check your transmission, i have the same problem and it ended up being one of the gears being burned out, even after i disconnected the plugs, it could have something to do with a sensor but then again this is my experience
