The United States rejected the treaty of Versailles (League of Nations) or better known as Wilson's foourteen points. This occured after the end of WWI. This treaty was rejected because many republicans and other politicians believed that the League of Nations would limit the US sovereignty and power to declare war, as well as entangle to US into other conflicts, in the future.
America did not join the League of Nations because the Senate did not ratify the Treaty of Versailles. The reason for this is because America did not want to immediately send troops if another nation was attacked. The League of Nations had stated that, so the Senate did not ratify the Treaty of Versailles.
They didn't need to. They dealt with the Treaty of Versailles, if that's what you mean. About the Versailles Treaty (1919), they rejected it because of Article 10 which stated that they needed to join the League of Nations and that when the League went to war, all of the members had to go to war and Congress thought that was against the US constitution, "Only Congress can declare war." Hope that helped. Oh, and Congress just kind of hated Wilson. WWI was really unpopular, no one really knew why we (the United States) were fighting it and Congress was republican and Wilson was a democrat so they didn't get along too well.

The League of Nations was an international organization founded in 1920 with the aim of promoting peace and cooperation among nations after World War I. It was established under the Treaty of Versailles and had various functions, including arbitrating disputes between member states and working towards disarmament. The United States Congress rejected joining the League of Nations primarily due to concerns about preserving American sovereignty and independence. Many senators feared that membership in the League would undermine the nation's ability to make independent decisions regarding foreign policy and military interventions. Additionally, some believed that the League's collective security mechanisms could draw the United States into conflicts that did not directly affect its interests. These concerns led to the rejection of the Treaty of Versailles, which included provisions for U.S. participation in the League of Nations.
