Generally the dome light on any vehicle is connected to a button which is depressed by the door when it closes. It is may be located in the front part of the door on the frame or on the back part of the door. When you locate this button, press on it to see what happens - now look on the door for something in the same area that will, when the door is closed, depress this button - now look to see if it is out of line or needs to be readjusted. If it needs to be readjusted look to see if you can get some pliers or something in there to bend it, if not you may have to add something like a sticky backed piece of rubber to build it up enough to make contact. The other thing to check is the door if the door is not correctly alligned you can readjust the door by loosening the bolts in the front of the door and lifting up or down as the case may be - use something to suppot the door once is is lined up correctly and retighten the bolts. The other thing to do would be to locate the fuse and remove it - but that will not fix it and something else may be connected to that fuse like the dashboard lights etc. This happened to my stang recently and I found a button on the back of the door as well as the front but only the front one controlled it this button also made the dinging sound constantly - very distracting.
Check the fuse. Check the blower speed resistor. Check the blower speed control switch.
Hmmm... That is strange. I have a five speed, v6 95 Mazda B4000, and it does not hesitate at all in the damp. The only time it ever hesitates is when I am hauling something up a hill at a high speed. Perhaps your issue is related to the automatic transmission in them?
Iti's mounted to the transmission. You will need to go under the car and look for it. Hope this will help.
