Four are still afloat (Jan 2016), but they have decommissioned from the navy and only one appears to still operate. The Porte Dauphine is now the Salmon Transporter. The Porte Quebec and Porte de la Reine were sold to US interests for conversion into yachts. The company ran out of money and the US government seized the vessels as a hazard to navigation. The owner died and the vessel was sunk off the coast of Forida near Broward County to act as a reef. The Porte St Louis was last seen in Norfolk, Virginia.
