If your plugs look really sooty and oily you are running pig rich and that may be your problem but without more info I cant tell you exactly why
If I understand your question properly I think you're referring to the engine timing. (when the spark plugs fire in relation to the rotation of the engine) When the temperature sensors on the car sense the engine is cold it will advance the timing of the engine to keep it from stalling out.
It would be ear muffs because they keep the noise out. Builders use them if you look.
try this link it may help keep in mind ford probe's have Mazda engine's
Changing the oil wont keep the car from starting. Changine the plugs will if you didn't put the wires back on in the proper location. The oil light will come on until the car starts and allows the oil pump to fill the filter and circulate the oil. Once started, the light should go out.
Are you resting your foot on the accelerator pedal? If so the computer recognises it and will keep it from starting. Also, the fuel filter may be stopping up. It should be changed every 2 years.
you mixture on the carbs is way to lean you need to adjust them
Not bad if you can just keep the spark plugs from blowing out.
I have a 2004 Ford excape that is not running right, it has had the spark plugs changed, when the theft light comes on it like it wants to kill, also my key starter wont start the car, keep unlock works.

sounds like you have stripped the threads, if so you need a " heli coil " thread repair..and follow directions. those threads will need to be repaired or retapped, and always start the threads on your spark plugs by hand and not with a wrench.
Why does my 83 Ford F150 keep failing out the spark plugs. All of them. If so, it would be the carburetor. That's about the only thing that is going to affect all of them. That's assuming the motor isn't shot and just using that much oil.
Replace the plugs or toss some bars leak in it. keep in mind however that when the plugs start to leak they nearly always need replacing.
as it is diesel it needs glow plugs to warm up prior to start up,that is why you get the little squiggle light on ur dash, when that goes out you are ready to start it up...diesel motors don't have spark plugs...compression ignition.so if you keep trying to start straight away you will only end up replacing the glow plugs.
No they do not, After engine is running there is no need for glow plugs because there is enough heat in the cylinders to warm the fuel. The glow plugs are designed to heat up the cold diesel fuel on start up only. Actually glow plugs will cycle briefly after engine start up to keep the cold fuel from bringing down cyl temp until the engine warms up. A power stroke will keep glow plugs on for up to 180 sec. A chev will run considerably less I believe.
Look at the Electronic Control Module. If it is the module type that looks like a dull aluminum box with 2 or 3 plugs to it, these are problematic; Replace it and keep a spare with you at all times.Look at the Electronic Control Module. There is most definitely a problem with the spark plugs on the Ford Triton 5.7 V-8. The problems range from plugs that you can't remove to plugs that blow right out of the head. When that happens, it takes the threads with it. Do a search for Triton spark plugs. Rick I'm a retired ASE Master/L-1 Technician. I still keep current with the latest automotive technology.
