most likely a dead ignition module, the accessory part of the ignition goes awry, seen it happen a couple times after you install a new head unit.
Ignition is required for an engine to work. Failure of ignition would prevent the engine working.
battery is shot?
Your alternator is not working.

This sounds like your battery.
no not nessecarily, it could have been a coincedence that it broke when you turned the key.
It sounds like a bad ignition switch or possibly a fuse. Could also be the sending unit on the injection pump.
Then it is a defective ignition switch.
Check the exhaust ignition interface. It could be a simple problem in the core module defribilator.
A bad ignition coil can cause your 1987 Acura tachometer to quit working. A bad tachometer cable or ground wire can also cause it to quit working.
It could be the ICM or the pickup module.
if this is turbo you could have to much oil in and it gets into the turbo and will run on its own
