It's a matter of replacing the reverse position swith in the transmission. This switch tells the computer wheter it's in neutral, or reverse and when in reverse it triggers the reverse lights.
Almost anyone does. Automatic transmission is only used by people who cannot drive a manual. Recent luxury cars and buses also use automatic transmission. Remember when you take your driver's exam with an automatic car, you will not be allowed to drive a manual. Given manual is the standard that is kind of a problem...
You are going to have to provide a lot more information before anyone can help you. What kind of car or truck is it? does it have a 4,6 or 8 cylinder motor? Is it automatic or manual transmission?
your transmission is having problems by the sound of it. go to a transmission shop.
Hyundai Genuine ATF, Diamond ATF SP-III or SK ATF SP-III. Do not use any other fluid, no matter what anyone tells you. Spend the extra money and get that exact fluid or you may be one of the many people who have spent $3,000 because they tried to save $20 by using a substitute fluid that joe the mechanic told them would work just fine.
is this car an automatic? take car to an automatic transmission shop. sounds like the torque converter is about worn out
If you didn't use dexron III transmission fluid, this may indicate the reason for the flashing light. Another reason is either too much or too little fluid. My best advice is to take the car to a transmission specialist. Really, changing the transmission fluid in a Daewoo is not something that should be attempted by anyone but a specialist.
Hey. I hate to give you or anyone with the same problem any bad news. But I have a 2000 prelude type sh. It want go in reverse check the cables under the car or take it to a transmission shop it could be that. But my cable was fine and it turned out to be my transmission. Hope this helps
Majority will be automatics, but standard transmission is an option in most cars/trucks.
Use ONLY Honda ATF. Caution: Do not use any other fluid no matter what anyone tells you.
Transmission temp sensors do fail. they are easy to replace. it is located on the front of the transmission, just below the trans filter ( for automatic) the connector is a pinch style 2 wire assembly. the temp sensor is threaded into the case.
