I'm attempting the same thing in my Mother-In-Law's 1996 Hyundai Accent. I've found that you need to start by removing the ashtray to expose the 2 screws on either side of the ashtray (inside). Remove these screws, then gently pry the center dash away (some of the clips might spring, but you can replace these later.
That's as far as I have gotten so far. There seems to be another fastener someplace in the lower left portion of the center dash that holds it in place. I am working to get this removed, but to no avail.
This Might sound simple but it's a pig..... Good LUCK.
Remove the Ashtray, Remove the 2 screws in the ashtray compartment! Now you need to undo the heater control clips 2 under the drivers side then 1 behind the glovebox.(this took me 2 hours to find!!!!!!!!! Then slide center control unit out. You then have to undo the stereo retaining screws and slide the stero out.... You might have to take the cables off the clock and hazzard lights too. Replace in reverse order and hay presto you are done!!!! Shame I didnt have this info before starting!!!!! Oh well it's done now!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could not see the 2 clips until I removed the cover plate under the steering wheel. Once I could see the heater control cables it was obvious what was being said. I disconnected them and the one behind the glovebox and all proceeded as stated above.
I paid a mechanic to do it for me when buying the head unit, it took him an hour including installing two speakers because he had to remove the entire heating unit... so he says to take the stock CD player out and install the new one.

under the manifold, left side of the motor. 2 bolts is all you need to undo it. You may have to take some hoses off to get to it

I do believe that 91 and 94 are the same procedure.
have to remove the door handle and the window handle. there is a clip that holds the window handle.
There are three screws that hold the unit (window regulator)in place. You will have to get the window up and out of the carrier and, pull the unit out.
put the new unit in and, place the window in the carrier but, make sure the window is at the full closed position (that is where you need another set of hands) then, you tighten up the screw in the unit.
The window is seated at the full closed position therefore when you tighten the unit up is wont twist. when I got someone else to replace the window regulator they had that window in the down position and the new regulator lasted about 2 weeks and then broke again... thanks mr mechanic....grin

Too much oil, only thing I can think of. Either that or your seals on the cap are worn.

The code is based on the car's serial number, not the model- each code is different. However, you can get radio code calculators online (you should buy them from the reputible sources online, not download the identical software for free from torrent sites or p2p networking clients... ahem)
In order to get the serial number you need for the calculator to work, you'll have to remove the radio.
Most car radios (at least from that era) are held in place by two or four locks that you can see as 4 holes in each corner of the front panel of the radio. Many car acessory stores will carry the tol to unlock this, but you can make your own with any strip of metal that fits into those holes (I used an old TV Ariel and cut two lenths of metal off of it).
Then, put the metal into all 4 of the holes at once and push them away from the radio (i.e. push the apart) and pull. Your radio should be romoved and the seriel will be printed on the top or the back somewhere. After that, you have everything you need to unlock the radio.

Drain hole is underneath on the fan belt side, loosen the bolt and out it comes, be ready. There is a diagram in the service manual, google one if you don't have one.

Hello I have a 1992 HYUNDAI EXCEL..just changed mine..but its a standard shift..first disconnect the NEGATIVE battery cable..stops any airbag accidents..take pliers..DISCONNECT end at TRANI..run new speedo cable the same way the old one goes..pull out RUBBLER BLACK grommet behind DISTRIBUTOR CAP..this grommet stops water getting inside dash .Its under the hood inside firewall (behind distributor cap). NEXt undoes the 3-4 screws inside car that hold your plastic intrument gauges....pull out SLOW..behind it is WHITE plastic piece..SQEEZE together..this piece will release the old speedo cable..PULL this white plastic piece AWAY FROM YOU..it releases the old cable..its a difficult job..worse than u think, but it can be done..took me over an hour...the worse thing was trying to remove the WHITE plastic housing behind DASH guages..I was pulling it the wrong way..must be BACKED OFF away from you..GOOD LUCK
