Look for obvious cause of leak i.e. loose hose clamp, defective hose have system pressure tested to determine source of leak
........from........????????
It could be transmission fluid or coolant, or a problem with the catalytic converter.
The orange light means you need to check for a fault! Could be low Oil, Low Coolant, Low Brake Fluid, Low power steering, Low transmission fluid. and a half a hindered other things.
I had this problem in the past, I believe the sensor on the fluid bottle has stop working or the connection maybe corroded and it may need cleaning. I do hope this hepls your problem. Nibbs
The small pipe which goes to the radiator is most likely carrying the fluid from the auto box to the cooler and if the fluid has all leaked out , there will be no drive .
Where is it leaking from? Could be front or rear seal or coolant lines Did you change gasket when you changed fluid?
I would say any fluid could act as a coolant. Brake fluid DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 is a polyethylene glycol based fluid. DOT 5 is a silicone based fluid. DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 will absorb water, reduce its boiling point and degrade its performance.
i would start with fixing coolant problem brown coolant indicates there is oil in your coolant which indicyrs either a blown head gasket or a cracked head you fix that problem and more than likely, the surging problem will go away
No. Transmission fluid lubricates the transmission. Coolant is used by the radiator to cool the engine.
Eventually heater will stop working when coolant level gets low enough. Pressure test system to determine where leak originates
Pink could be coolant or transmission fluid. You need to find the source to know what is leaking.
Transmission fluid, if you have a bad radiator.
