The best know shortcut key to go back to your previous cell in microsoft excel would depend on what cell you are in. You would either press up, down, left or right
You can use the arrow keys to do it or the Shift-Tab combination.
Tab+Backspace
If you hit the Backspace key, the insertion point will move to the left. If you press the Delete key, the insertion point will stay where it is.
