Was Mexico an ally in World War 1?

yes. Much of the world was part of the allies in WWII but what is more intersting about Mexico is that a Mexican Air Squadron (air planes) acutally fought in a battle during WWII. I belive it was in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.

Nope, México was way too busy with its own internal struggles, but Germany did indeed try to get México's help. México was neutral during WWI, so Germany had an embassador in México, and they tried to send a call for help to the German Embassador in México, the deal was, should México accept, to help them (México) get New Mexico, California, Nevada, Texas, Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming (I don't recall if it was the whole state or just part of it) back, but, as fate would have it, U.K. intelligence intercepted the messege, which was given to Wilson and was later published in 1917 I belive.
