water leaks are the worst to locate. if you have a sunroof the drains are blocked or clogged. if not peel back the rug to see any traces of water trails very hard to see but using a good flashlight will help. then with someone in car use a hose and very slowly watercheck vehical going from the ground up this is a must if you start at top you will have no chance. go very slow and when water enters car you will have a good idea at the height or area of car to check closer. some leaks are from firewall gromets. if your a\c works do not do anything until you run a\c 1\2 hour and make sure the evaporator drain is open water will drip uder pass foot area under car if it doesn't that is the problem. just open hoo you see small rubber elbow shape hose at firewall lower pass. side take it off and clear obstruction.
You probably have a a/c leak.
any leak on your drivers door, or firewall. could be just about anything.
Mine? The sunroof has leaked since the car was built in 1985 Yours? There's a leak somewhere or the AC condensation line is plugged. My favorite was the Dodge Neon, The tail lights on every single one leaked and filled the rear seat foot wells with water.
Lead in soil can leak into water supplies and wells. Lead is toxic and can cause severe brain damage or death.
I have a water leak in my 2004 Pontiac Montana between the drivers door and theseat,I was told it is the rubber gasket-that's in the floor, where the water drains, outside the Van,is this going to be a big job to repair???
Is it just water or is there coolent in it. If it's just water than it could be condensation from your A/C. If it has coolent in it than your heater core has a leak in it
I had the same problem and it turned out to be that the two outlets from the water drip tray in the bonnet were clogged with leaves.
The water inlet or gooseneck has cracked or worn thin if its a 2.4 The o ring may be bad also.
If it is water you have a plugged condensation drain line that needs to be cleaned out. If it is engine coolant you have a leaky heater core that needs to be replaced.
Most likely you have water in the drivers floor board . it sounds like you have a faulty comfort module . it is located under the carpet in the drivers front seat foot well . or a blown fuse . but if you have water there then you will need to fix the leak the replace the module . The leak is often caused by a blocked drain hole under the battery shelf - The water then drains via the polen filter and through the air duct to the floor. If you replace the unit you may find the keyfobs remote function doesnt work anymore until you have programmed the keys in.
heater core
check your blower motor, located under the dash board. its on the passenger side. if the leak is on the drivers side, i have no clue. but my hubby's car is leaking water from the blower motor on the passenger side. found out at the car wash...
