I think so except for the gospel of Luke. Luke was a Greek or some people think maybe a Macedonian.

Luke is also the supposed author of the book of Acts, as well. So thats at least two books by that logic.

What was the intended audience of the Old Testament?

The books of the Old Testament were written, in the form we know today, long after the destruction of the northern kingdom of Israel. Those written before the Babylonian Exile were intended to be read by the people of the smaller, southern kingdom of Judah, while later books were intended to be read by the Jews during and after the Babylonian Exile. The Old Testament books were selected and formalised as the Hebrew Bible by the Council of Jamnia, meeting in 96 CE. The Hebrew Bible became the scriptures to be read by all future generations of Jews.

Do you have the first words from the first bible. I guess what Im trying to say . does Rome have the first written Bible and if so can we see it?

The bible is a collection of books. The books of the old testament comes from before the birth Jesus. The new testament are the books concerning the birth of Jesus and what comes after. As well as the books in the current bible, there were many other books written by people at the time (including many fakes written afterwards). Also there were many copies and different translations that did not match up. The current bible came about when the Pope organised the theologians of the day to go through all the books and sort them out. The books of the bible were written over a long period of time, all we have left are copies of the originals.

What books of the Bible were written while Jesus was alive?

No books of the Bible were written at the time Jesus was alive on earth. The old Testament books had already been written, and the New Testament books started to be written within a few years of Jesus' death. All were written by 70AD. Christians regard Jesus as still being alive, although not on earth.

Does the Bible have all the scriptures?

AnswerThe Bible does have all the books now recognised as Christian scripture, but not all the books that could have been recognised as scripture. Books such as the Didache, the Shepherd of Hermas and numerous gospels are not included in the New Testament. The Protestant Old Testament includes the books that Judaism decided to include in its Hebrew Bible, and the Catholic Bible contains some additional books from among those that the Jews could have included but did not do so.

Which part of the Bible was about the Jews?

All of it, for they are God's chosen people. The rest of us are adopted children. The Old Testament section, of the Protestant Bible, is the Jewish Bible. The New Testament is also for, and about, Jews (and gentiles) who accept Jesus as the Messiah. The Catholic Bible also contains selected books of the Apocrypha.

How many of the books of the bible did the Jews not write and which ones?

There are many good books that tackle this question quite deeply. This is a simplistic response to a complicated question: The Bible is not a work of human beings in an "authorship" sense. It is a message from God. God authored the Bible. It is the written word of God. We have exactly the Bible that God intends for us to have. With regard to the people chosen, inspired and used by God to record His written word, tradition attributes the first five books of what the Christian church calls the "Old Testament" to Moses. Some of the books of the Old Testament are so ancient (for example, Job) that their writers and editors are unknown. In the New Testament, Luke was known as a gentile (a non-Jew) and penned the books of Luke and Acts. The author of Hebrews is unknown with certainty. All the remaining books in the New Testament were written by Jews who believed that Jesus was the prophesied Jewish Messiah.

Why did saint Matthew not believe the Bible?

The bible as we have it today was not available to Matthew. He himself wrote at least one of the books, and it was much later when all of the books written by all of the authors were brought together. We are not even sure if the books that go to make up the bible which we have today are in their right order.
