find the side of the engine that has the belt, alternator, air condisoner, and so on. the water pump generally will be the pully that has 4 or 5 bolts in it. Usually there are 6 pullies on an engine. Alternater, air condissioner, Power Steering, harmonic balancer, idler, and water pump. Its also usually in the middle of all the other pullys.
