You can ask your parents for pocket money in return for chores such as washing up and hoovering. You could also offer to wash neighbours cars for money, mow their grass or in some places you can do a newspaper round if you are supervised by a parent.
You can do your friends' makeup at 12 years old no problem, but you can't get a job that pays money because of child labor laws.

I would recommend getting a paper route. Not only will you make money, you'll get exercise. Another good summer job is mowing lawns in your neighborhood.
