I'm not a mechanic / technician but check in the front passenger
foot well , under the front edge of the carpet , mounted on the toe
board just to the right of the transmission hump
( I believe that is where the fuel pump inertia switch was on my
1993 Ford Explorer )
According to the 1999 Ford Ranger Owner Guide : The fuel pump inertia switch is in the front passenger's footwell , behind the kick panel
According to the 2002 Ford Ranger owners manual , the inertia switch ( fuel pump shut off switch ) is located in the front passenger footwell by the kick panel
For a 2005 Ford Ranger : The fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) is in the front passenger footwell , in the right corner , above the carpet but below the right side of the glove compartment

I'm not a mechanic / technician but I BELIEVE the fuel pump inertia switch on a 1993 Ford Ranger is in the front passenger footwell , under the front edge of the carpet , mounted on the toe board just to the right of the transmission hump
On my 96 ranger its on the passenger side basically on the firewall
The fuel pump shut off ( inertia switch ) is located in the front passenger footwell behind the kick panel on a 1999 Ford Ranger
According to the 2006 Ford Ranger Owner Guide it's under the right side of the glove box just above the carpet
in the fuel tank
According to the 2004 Ford Ranger Owner Guide : The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is under the right side of the glove compartment , just above the carpet
The Chilton and Haynes manuals both say that the inertia switch is on the toe board to the right of the transmission hump. I can't find it. Can anyone help me locate it?
