If you subtract one proton, you get platinum. If you add one proton, you get mercury. Platinum is considerably more valuable than mercury. If you add or subtract more than one, all bets are off. If you add enough, you get a transuranic element, which are much more valuable than gold.

Which company has sun rays with a S below then and below that Occupied Japan?

That is Satsuma. I collected it for many years. There is differnt "grades" If "occupied Japan " is on a sticker, it was put there in order to ship it to the U.S. They started to put tese stickers on them because to many pieces of importance were being smuggled out of the country. Later they started to stamp Occupied Japan into the clay on newer pieces. If it is a sticker than you have a very nice piece. A stamped piece could be vaulable as well but not as much.

Who invented body armor for dogs?

Body armor for dogs came about largely because of the war on terror. With more and more military dogs being used in the attack or bombing sniffing role, it became important to protect dogs from bombs or attack. It costs thousands of dollars to train and deploy a military dog, hence protecting it from bombs and angry civilians (many Arabs culturally dislike dogs) is worthwhile.Addendum:Armour was also produced for war dogs in antiquity, from the medieval and early renaissance periods. It was also used regularly for dogs used in hunting boar or similar wild animals, to protect the vaulable and trained animals. There are depictions of war dogs with protective harnesses on the bayeux tapestry, from the 11th Century, sculptures of dogs in armour from the 17th Century, and at least one example of such armour is to be found in museum collections; in the Higgins Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts.
