Giving the Chinese missile secrets. Like the ICBM.

I completely disagree with whoever made that outrageous assertion! There is no evidence whatsoever that President Clinton ever approved of giving the Chinese missile secrets! Unfortunately, there are still many Americans that refuse to give any credit to Clinton for all the wonderful things he achieved while in office and since! He ended a recession he inherited from George H.W. Bush in 1993, by raising taxes on the wealthy. That ushered in 6 years of incredible growth in the economy, including record surpluses and an end to deficit spending! In fact, when George W. Bush became President in 2001, he inherited a $137 Billion surplus which he promptly squandered on huge tax cuts to the wealth in 2001 & 2003, without paying for them!

Bill Clinton also dramatically decreased millions of people on welfare and back to work! He also reduced the size of the Federal Government for the first time in decades! He invested billion of dollars on expanding technology in the classrooms, including the internet and computers in the classrooms! He led the international fight in Bosnia and ended the war and atrocities committed by the Serbs! Unlike George Bush, who was despised by most of our allies, due to the unpopular Iraqi War, Bill Clinton enjoyed widespread popularity, especially in Europe and Africa!

Bill Clinton proved beyond a doubt, that Democrats are much better stewards of American taxpayer dollars than the GOP-He gave us record surpluses and we were on track to finally eradicate the national debt had he stayed in office, which of course, he couldn't! Since he left office, he founded the Bill Clinton Foundation, and has successfully raised billions to help millions of people around the world, including Aids and malaria relief! He led efforts to help those affected from the Asian tsunami and the earthquake in Haiti! What a wonderful humanitarian Bill Clinton has been in public life!!!

On December 21, 2000, President Clinton signed into law the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 which abrogated the Banking Act of 1933 (also known as the Glass-Steagall Act) and thereby laid the legal foundation for the financial debacle from which the US and the world is now struggling to recover.
