No, there is not an Animal Crossing PS2 game. Animal Crossing is made by Nintendo, and is only available for Nintendo Systems only. The only 3 Nintendo Systems compatible with the only 3 Animal Crossing games are the Nintendo Gamecube, the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi, and the Nintendo Wii.

Well there are 4 Animal Crossing games.(3 in America)The first one called animal forest was released in Japan.The 2nd one was dibbed Animal Crossing in America.It was a very popular hit and many people still prefer it today.The 3rd was made to be played on the Nintendo DS and was called Animal Crossing Wild World.It received good ratings as well but didnt beat the first one.Released recently in 2008,Animal Crossing City Folk came out for the Wii.i hope i cleared this up for you
No, only in Animal Crossing GameCube. In the original Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, Nook has a system where you can trade fruit and furniture with others (because you cannot be in each other's town at the same time yet) using codes. In Animal Crossing City Folk, you can go to another person's town and play with them and have two people in one town at the same time, playing simultaneously, so all trading can be done when you visit. This way, there's no need for a code, because the code system was easily maniuplated to cheat through the game.
