The first Tudor was Henry VII, who was succeeded by his son Henry VIII.

He was followed by his son Edward VI (son by his third wife, Jane Seymour), who soon died and his cousin Jane Grey was placed on the throne for a brief period.

Edwards eldest sister Mary I (by Henry's first wife, Catherine of Aragon) took the throne, and finally Elizabeth I inherited it. As she never married and had children, the Tudor line ended with her death, and her distant cousin James VI of Scotland, became James I of England.
