turn in then 1 1/4 turns out on high and low factory settings hope this helps
The carb on a McCullouch chainsaw can be adjusted by turning the idle mixture screws. This controls how much fuel and air are mixed inside the carburetor.
Factory carb settings for a 84 Honda 200s
turn both hi and low fully clockwise till seated. then turn each 1 full turn counterclockwise then adjust your idle speed with idle set screw.
Fairly simple. Fuel line up from tank.....underneath carb.....to right side of carb inlet fitting.
High is 7/8 ths of a turn out from lightly seated. Low would be 1-1/4 turn out. This is ball park settings. The saw should run but will need fine tuning. Be careful not to turn the H screw in to far and lean out the mixture and damage the motor. http://store.chainsawr.com/
The carburetor on a 330 Homelite chainsaw can be adjusted with the 3 screws. Turning to the right increases the richness or gas flow. Turning to the left increases the air into the mixture.
I cant kept it running
47-52 depending on carb settings
low 1 turn high 5/8
You will need to go into your settings to change them. If you are having difficulties, it is best to let a mechanic do the work.
That's what they do. maybe check carb settings and such.
