They are not accurate and only reflect the person on the day it was given. If a person is under stress, sick, or is poor at testing the results don't really reflect the IQ of that person. On the opposite side a person could show at the higher end and not really be that intelligent. Age is also a factor and a test that is given too young isn't accurate. Many outside factors influence outcome.
