What are some tips for Animal Crossing City Folk?

1. Money Trees

You'll need a *Golden Shovel and at least 1,000 bells with you. Click on your money (check your pockets.) Put your bells into money bags. (Thousands.) Bury them with the golden shovel. Later it will possibly grow into a money tree, giving you 3,000 bells in money bags. Plant more Bells for a higher chance of it growing.

2. Catching Bugs

First, buy a net from Tom Nook for 500 Bells. There will be lots of bugs fluttering about your town. Catch them and sell them for up to 15,000 bells. (There are two bugs worth 15,000, but most are worth around 200.)

3. The Stalk Market

This is the Animal Crossing version of the Stock Market. Every Sunday, Joan will visit your town. You can usually buy turnips for around 115 Bells apiece. Sell them to Tom Nook by the following Saturday. His prices will raise and lower each day. The Stalk Market is closed on Sundays.

4. Money Rocks

Every day, there will be a rock. If you hit it, Bells will pop out, giving you around 1,000 Bells. If you have a Golden Shovel, Bells will be more likely to pop out, and more Bells will pop out.

5. Fish Catching

Buy a fishing rod from Tom Nook, and catch fish.

TIP: When it's raining or snowing, fish in the ocean. You might find a Coelacanth, worth 15,000 Bells.

6. Fossils and Gyroids

Dig at a **dig spot. You'll either get a fossil, a gyroid, or furniture. Give a fossil to Blathers and have it be identified. Then you can either give it to Blathers, or sell it to Tom Nook. You can also auction it for BIG MONEY. Sell it for 4 times the selling price. Gyroids make sounds. Place them in your home, or sell them to Tom Nook.
