Best method for losing weight...I would recommend 10 ways to lose weight:

1. exercise

2. eat less

3. eat breakfast

4. eat everything

5. weakness is not hunger

6. eat sugar

7. weight for the results

8. Keep yourself happy

Diet and exercise. It is the only safe way. Extreme diets that block out entire food groups are not safe. Eating fruits, vegetables, dairy, meats and grains is the best. Eat carbs in moderation only, like pasta or white rice. Take a multi-vitamin every day. Do some cardio exercise or some strength training exercise everyday (Pilates does both- it's great! You will feel silly when you first start because the people on the video can do moves you can't do, but stick with it and in a few weeks you will be keeping pace with them).

On a typical day, I try to stick to this or something like it: 1/2 grapefruit, 2tbsp cottage cheese and a Wasa whole grain cracker and a glass of milk for breakfast (sometimes i have a packet of instant oatmeal instead of the cheese, cracker and milk). Then, a snack of a piece of fruit. Then lunch, a salad (lettuce, spinach, sprouts, carrots, tomatos, avocados, onions, cuccumbers) with olive oil. Snack, a handful of raw nuts (i like almonds). Dinner, a piece of fish or chicken or beef and plenty of veggies, including potatoes sometimes. Snack at night, cheddar cheese and grapes or fat free chocolate pudding.

Drink water all day long. I drink atleast 3 bottles of the Aquafina water in the 16.9 ounce size per day. Drink hot green tea at night. Use Splenda instead of sugar. That's what I do. I do Pilates for exercise... don't like working out at a gym so I have pilates dvd's and i do them at home on my yoga mat in the house or the patio- where ever!

This is the routine I usually follow. It is safe to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. This way the weight will stay off...

I went from 148 pounds to 107 so it worked for me!
