Calories are so much faster to eat than to exercsie away that losing weight through exercise alone is close to impossible. A snack that'll take minutes to eat cna take an hour to burn off. Unless your eating is under control it's nearly impossible.
If you insist, pick a cardio exercise that you can keep doing for HOURS, then just start grinding away.
