The Austro-Hungarian Empire was the central power that lost all of its territories and was broken up into separate countries after World War I. The empire disintegrated in 1918, leading to the creation of several new nations, including Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and parts of Yugoslavia. This dissolution was formalized in the Treaty of Saint-Germain in 1919.
Turkey was originally the ottoman empire. The ottoman empire did fight in the world and was definitely a central power.
