You can look at the differences along these lines: 1. Financial: US is a rich country while Sri Lanka is a developing (third world) country not as rich. 2. Religion: Majority of the people in the US are christians while those in Sri Lanka are likely to be Buddhists. 3. Geography: US is in the Western Hemisphere, north of equator. The temperatures vary a lot across the year (from very cold in the winter to very hot in summer) and a lot of snow in the winter especially in the north. Srilanka is in Asia just north of the equator and hence the temperatures dont vary much across the year - mostly around 90 F (or 30C) with no snow. People are predominantly dark skinned in Sri Lanka while people of different races and colours live in the US. Sri Lanka is an island in the Indian ocean while (continental) US is bounded on the north by Canada and on the south by Mexico and bounded on the east & west by Atlantic & Pacific oceans, respectively. 4. Population and Size: US in one of the largest countries in the world with a population of about 300 million while Sri Lanka is one of the smaller countries with a smaller population of a few tens of millions. (20,000,000 est) 5. Economy: The primary industries in Sri Lanka are Tea, Tourism and Textiles. US being one of the largest economies in the world - it may be much more difficult to point to a few major industries in that country.

#Srilankans are generous & hospitable. but british are fat headed freaks.

#british people are very selfish. they destroyed whole Srilankan royal family in 18th century.(not only srilankan, also India & many other countries)

There are much more things, but its good for not mentioning them.
