Non-profit organizations are able to come in and invest in various communities giving assistance to many needy persons. One such non-profit community group is BREDA, they provide education, sports, cultural heritage, and environmental awareness. They have setup a safe house for battered women at which they learn to read and make crafts to be sold for their projects. Also, BREDA has sponsored visiting American physicians to donate their time to teach first response medical techniques.
· Jamaica's trading relationships is now being made more complex as it tries to diversify its trading relationships beyond traditional partners for example, US , UK and Canada to include Latin America and other counties.
The country has also benefited greatly through money transfers such as
Western Union, Jamaica National Money transfer and other remittance
companies. Through these companies the country is able to earn foreign
