Generally when the bearing is starting to go it will be noisy and you can change the pitch of the noise by steering the car slightly left to right while driving at 50 mph.If there is no noise then get a second opinion but don't continue to drive it without having this checked out.

if the bearing will not stay in, the housing is worn.this can be repaired by using a new bearing with a speedy sleeve. u will need to go to a bearing supplier to get this. a good mechanic will know what it is, but an average mechanic will have no clue. also heavy equipment mechanic will know what it is

If it is the front bearing: Take it to a mechanic. The bearing in pressed into the spindle. A press is required to remove the old bearing and install the new one.

First, be aware that this could be a very dangerous situation. While it is impossible to diagnose the problem from such little information, there is a fair chance that you have a faulty wheel bearing. Please have a mechanic check your car right away.

Although there is a snap ring retaining the bearing, you will need to take the strut to a mechanic and have the bearing pressed out. If you take out the three bolts on the top of the strut tower, and disconnect the ball joint at the bottom, you won't have to worry about throwing the alignment out.

No, wear on wheel bearing occurs because of the use of the bearing under normal conditions or because of the lack/loss of lubricant on the bearing or abnormal load conditions, improperly manufactured bearings, improperly installation, etc.Worn tires by themselves wouldn't cause bearing wear.At the same time they do not have an infinite life unless kept very carefully on a shelf. There are established methods for determining if bearing are worn, check with the manufacturer or a reputable mechanic for how...

When not knowing how to remove the front wheel bearing on a 2004 Sienna consult with an auto mechanic to ensure the process is being done properly. Also, the Sienna has an owner's manual that will assist in this removal.
