Jews believe Jesus Christ is just a prophet and not the messiah. Christians believe J.C. is the son of God and the true messiah as well as part of the the holy trinity. Catholics also believe J.C. is not only the son of God, but he is God and a part of the Holy Trinity...the father, the son and the holy spirit. In addition, catholics also believe that The Pope is the head of the Church and that JC himself made it so with St. Peter being the first.

Christianity is a world-wide religion holding that God appeared on earth in human form as Jesus of Nazareth, who suffered an ignominious death by crucifixion at the hands of the Romans around the year 29, by the current Western calendar. He then rose from the dead and walked again among his followers for forty days, until he ascended to heaven. Christianity believes that humans are born in a state of sin, dating back to Eve and Adam eating the forbidden fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden. Only baptism, accepting Jesus as one's Saviour, can wash away this stain of Original Sin.
Judaism is the Evolving Religious Civilization of the Jewish People. Its religious component is based upon the idea of the Covenant, between God and this People, to be a holy nation. It does not recognize the concept of Original Sin nor does Judaism accept Jesus as a Messiah (Saviour).

A:One difference is that Jews have been persecuted by Christians since the fourth-century reign of Emperor Constantine. Historians say that in the previous three centuries, official, widespread persecution of Christians amounted to no more than twelve years in total. Those who would persecute the Jews (and pagans) have been far more ruthless and consistent in pursuing their objectives than were those who persecuted the early Christians.
