In my case it was easy to spot. He was spending too many hours on line and became moody when i or children bent over his shoulder. He was on-line from 6am in the morning until 4am most days he was not working. Husband took laptop to work in fact everywhere.

Early hours of morning he would receive texts and phone calls which he thought we could not hear. a web-cam became a main feature of his late night life. He became very very confrontational if anyone in the family picked up his mobile when he was not in the room. Next obvious feature was our son finding dad half naked on a web cam in front of a half naked girl. Happened to be someone he met on a on-line game. In-fact husband was quite normal before he started to play on-line game 24-7 when fantasy worlds started to be his real life. So irrational bad tempers and refusal to join in family activities or family life without an argument. His hygiene declined as he could not bear to be away from the laptop for any length of time. Sex was no longer part of marriage, neither was eating together, speaking or sleeping. Children became an annoyance to the husband. He became very rude and ignored friends, family and anyone who visited. Stopped going to work on some days. became very bad tempered when his phone credit ran out. Basically treated the family like they were not wanted.

So really any of these signs is to watch for and in my experience it has to be nipped in the bud. My husband was having an affair on line for a year but in his view does not class it as cheating as he is not actually committing the sexual act. Web sex then in men's eyes is acceptable behaviour.

If husband or boyfriend starts showing any irritability surrounding time on-line or your mere presence watch out.
