It is a electric pump , and it is inside of the gas tank . Not a easy job , mine quit in our blazer ,in the middle of winter , I had a shop do mine , they only use AC Delco parts , so that said , $751.00 and that included a $50.00 tow and a new fuel filter .The pump prices vary , for after market , to OEM equipment , like AC Delco , the pump is $400.00 + for a Delco.

The fuel pump relay on this model is located in the right corner, behind the battery. You can find maybe two relays if you have an OEM AC mounted and the one for the fuel pump is the closer to the cabin.
